Introduction


The trek to Ghorepani – Poon Hill is located in Annapurna region. This is one of the best trek in Nepal. It offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with fascinating villages inhabited particularly by the Gurungs & Magars. One could clearly feel these ethnic group’s culture and tradition which is very rare in world. There is a dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurnas with the majestic peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak).
This trek’s most amazing highlight of this trip is to climb on Poon Hill, which is consider as one of the most spectacular mountain range on Earth. When sun rises, it seems to be right in front of the giant peaks like Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a several other peaks. They appear so beautifully and unbelievably right in front of your eyes.

Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu – Transfer to Hotel

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, MSM Tours and Treks representative will officially greet and meet you at Airport & transfer you to Hotel. Rest at the hotel and briefing about the trip. Overnight in Kathmandu (1,000m/3,280ft).

Day 02: Kathmandu- Pokhara. Drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara- Hille/ Tirkhedhunga / Ulleri (2070m) (5-6 hours).

Day 04: Hille / Tirkhedhunga/ Ulleri to Ghorepani- Poon Hill (3210m) after 4-5 hours walk we reach at Ghorepani (2860m).

Day 05: Ghorepani- Tadapani- Ghandruk (1951m) .We walks down through the forest of rhododendron trees.

Day 06: Ghandruk-Pokhara. After about 5 hours downhill trek we reach Birethanti, from where we drive to Pokhara.

Day 07: Pokhara- Kathmandu

Day 08: Departure

MSM Tour and Treks representative will drop you to the International Airport (TIA) to assist you for your final departure to your home.
