Chitwan National Park have more than 700 species of birds and over 70 species of wild creatures including the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger, elephants, one-horned white rhinos, sloths and garial crocodiles. The local people belong to the Tharu tribe and travelers have equal opportunities to visit Tharu villages and to enjoy programmes of Tharu culture. POKHARA is the most popular destination in Nepal after Kathmandu, enclosed by the Annapurna range of the Himalaya (in the shape of a horse shoe). At 800m above sea level, the air is clean and fresh and the sub-tropical climate is ideal. Most travellers stay in favorite Lakeside district which follows the shoreline of Fewa Lake (Nepal’s second largest lake). One can even have a view of Machhapuchre – also is popular as fishtail mountain. LUMBINI – birthplace of Gautam Buddha – the Mecca of every Buddhist is one of the four holy places of Buddhism. Lumbini is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas in modern Nepal. With its tranquil environ, Lumbini has lot more to offer to the researcher and religious travelers to know the actual history of Gautam Buddha, his holy preaching and how Buddhism started to be taken as religion by people all around the world.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu (1350m)
The views of the snow clad mountain peaks indicate that you have entered the country of the Himalayans where the people here are as diverse as the cultures here, where there is always something happening somewhere. Upon arrival, you will meet with MSM Tours and Treks representative at the airport who will assist and help you transfer to a Hotel. Overnight accommodation will be in hotel.
Day 2: Sight-seeing tour around Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will have a full day guided sight –seeing tour around Kathmandu where you can feast your eyes on the rich and colorful history of the country. The tour includes Kathmandu Durbar Square- houses the old royal palace of the Kathmandu kingdom, Monkey Temple- swarming with monkeys, Pashupatinath- one of the most significant Hindu temple of Lord Shiva in the world, Boudha Stupa- one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. One will be able to appreciate how the country is as it is. From the top of the Monkey Temple to the fluttering of the colorful prayer flags at Boudha Stupa, you will be able to feel the way of life of the people in the Kathmandu Valley. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Chitwan Driving duration: 4 to 5 hours
- Pick up from the Bus stop to Hotel Parkside
- Sightseeing tour (visit Tharu village, Elephant stable, Visitor Center and Sunset view point)
- Dinner and Culture program (Tharu stick dance 1hrs)
Day 4: At Chitwan
- Wake up call
- Canoeing and Elephant breeding center. Or (Canoeing (35min) and Jungle walk 2 to 3 hour.)
- Elephant Safari
Day 5: AT Chitwan
- Wake up call
- Bird watching
- Departure to bus stop
- Bus to Pokhara
One can enjoy the views of the green hills, beautiful valleys and some mountain views along the way. Pokhara is regarded as tourists’ paradise where natural and cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples, etc coexist. One can have pleasure to observe views of Phewa Taal (lake), Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel
Day 6: To Jomsom and then to Muktinath
The early flight to Jomsom is extremely scenic. On a clear day, one can enjoy the great views of the Annapurna (8091m), the Dhaulagiri (8167m) and many more radiant peaks standing there tall and mighty shining in all its glory. You can have breakfast in Jomsom before heading over to cross the Kali Gandaki River. We will take a Pony ride to Mukttinath. We will make a pit stop at the village of Kagbeni so that you can explore around the Tibetan village and have a lunch. The village off a friendly vibe with its ever smiling people. There is also the oldest monastery in the Mustang district. There is an excellent skyline over the famous Kingdom of Mustang and Mt Dhaulagiri. There are also ruins of castles and caves scattered around where monks and Buddhist teachers of the ancient kingdom used to practice their rituals. From Jharkot, the climb continues along the mountains side until you reach Mukinath (3800m). Overnight accommodation will be in a Lodge.
Day 7: Back to Jomsom
After breakfast, we will take a Pony-ride back to Jomsom where we will be spending the night. Jomosm is also sometime referred to as New Fort and is located at an altitude of 2800m. It extends over the banks of the Kali Gandaki River. Along the banks of Kali Gandaki river, there are rocks which hold significant meaning to Hindus. The majestic peaks of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri can be seen in the backdrop. You will have ample time and opportunities to explore Jomsom. Overnight accommodation will be in a lodge.
Day 8: Fly to Pokhara
We will be taking an early morning flight back to Pokhara where a whole day worth of sightseeing to various palces such like Bridhabasini Temple, Mahendra cave, Davis fall, Gupteshwor cave, International Mountain Museum awaits. Overnight accommodation will be in Pokhara in a hotel.
Day 9: Pokhara to kathmandu Driving duration: 7 to 8 hours
You will take a ride back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will have the whole day to yourself. You can indulge yourself in your personal activities / Shopping. Overnight accommodation will be in a hotel.
Day 10: Departure
Transfer to Airport for departure.
